Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
Union Institute & University’s Doctor of Psychology Program offers the Psy.D. degree with a concentration in clinical psychology. The program integrates issues related to diversity and social justice throughout the curriculum. It also offers an optional emphasis area in family psychology.
The program’s distributed learning model makes it accessible to working adults who need to balance career, family and other responsibilities. Learners take courses online and meet together in small cohorts monthly in either Cincinnati, Ohio or Brattleboro, Vermont. Learners benefit from UI&U’s experienced faculty and transformative learning environment, developing the attitudes, knowledge, and skills they need to advance their careers. The program prepares learners to work with individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations in a rapidly changing world.
Consistent with the UI&U mission to provide socially relevant and innovative education, the Psy.D. Program offers a cutting edge curriculum designed to produce leading practitioners and scholars in the field of clinical psychology.
