PeopleSoft Report Analyst

SUMMARY: The Reporting Analyst will prepare reports, reporting tools, and communication tools to be used by personnel from company divisions, shared services as well as upper management and executive level Officers.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create new, adapt existing, and make modifications to reports, and reporting tools and databases, per user/business request.
  • Utilize various reporting tools to run reports based on PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HR information, including PS/Query, SQR, nVision, and other PeopleSoft reporting tools.
  • Report types will include, but are not limited to – sales, status and variance, forecasts, progress, goals and targets.
  • Respond to requestors questions concerning reports and assist colleagues with system and datarelated questions.
  • Envision and develop reports in support of the current and future business needs and decisions of the organization.

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or computer science is required.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum five years of experience using PeopleSoft 8.x or higher required.
  • Minimum five years of progressive experience using various reporting software, such as nVision,
  • PeopleSoft Query, SQL/SQR, Crystal Reports, and XML Publisher required.

  • Demonstrated ability to write and develop complex SQL queries required
