For our in house IT department, we are looking for a PeopleSoft Financials Programmer. The preferred candidate will be a self-starter who works well in a team environment understanding requirements and producing results.  Strong communication skills are a must. The candidate must possess the ability and experience to jump in and make a difference immediately. (Visa sponsorship might be available for the right candidate)

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day application support and troubleshooting to the end user community
• Analyzing and designing integrated solutions within the PeopleSoft Financials
• Coding solutions based on specifications including application customizations, custom reports, and interfaces.
• Debugging code and recommending/implementing program improvements.
• Troubleshooting problems with all PeopleSoft applications and environments.
• Participating in system and integration testing.

Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
• Strong Knowledge of PeopleSoft Staffing (Pay/ Bill), Projects, Contracts, Billing, Recievables, Payables and General Ledgers.
• Knowledge in nVision is a plus.
• Proven proficiency in PeopleTools v8.4x or higher (Application Designer PeopleCode, Application Engines, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, PS/Query, nVision, XMLP, SQL, and SQR).
• Experience working with Oracle Database.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines, work independently, prioritize work, and contribute to several major initiatives simultaneously.
• PeopleSoft 8.x certification a plus.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree preferred.
