The coursework focuses on Cultural Competency and Breastfeeding: Navigating the Most Positive Path for Breastfeeding Success. Join Karin Cadwell and Cindy Turner Maffei as we learn how understanding cultural diversity is integral to helping breastfeeding mothers and to overcome disparities of care.
Learners may incorporate the coursework for this cruise into their UI&U course “Social and Cultural Issues in Health Care.” We can amend the LA to include this unique learning opportunity.
