Drupal Developer

SUMMARY: 

On Assignment’s Marketing/Interactive Group is looking for a mid-to-senior level Drupal Developer to build and support Drupal websites, client portals and web applications.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional focused on leveraging their Drupal experience to craft interactive and dynamic enterprise-level business solutions. They will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and on a team.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Build and maintain a high-performance & scalable platform hosting multiple external and internal websites.

·         Rapidly iterate on platform features, developing new modules and elegant solutions using Drupal API.

·         Write front-end code using Drupal theming engine, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.

·         Come up with ideas to improve functionality, reliability and performance, and make our systems more flexible to business change.

·         Produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code – with an eye towards performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

·         Participate in design and architecture reviews of new applications and major system enhancements.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline a plus.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

3 years of experience developing web applications using PHP, Drupal, & MySQL.

 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

·         Expert PHP programming skills with deep knowledge of Drupal Core and popular modules.

·         Mastery of XML, JSON, jQuery, Ajax, HTML 5, CSS, and RESTful Web Services.

·         Understanding of Cloud Application Platforms and familiarity with edge caching, agile methods, responsive designs, mobile web development, and GitHub experience a plus.

·         Ability to work independently and autonomously on assigned projects from inception to completion.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.
